![]() So, unless you're unable to play the Sky series, and seeing you're on Steam, I don't see why you would be, I seriously urge you to play it before Zero, Azure and then Cold Steel. In fact, IMO the very first game, Trails in the Sky FC is the best game of them all. In addition, the previous series (Trails in the Sky) is a great series on it's own and completely worth playing for many other reasons than just this particular story arc. Seeing only the resolution of this arc (in this game) while missing the buildup to it (in the previous two games, Sky SC and Sky the 3rd) would mean you will have a far lesser experience regarding this arc as you would otherwise, which would be a shame. At long last, English-speaking Legend of Heroes fans can (officially) experience the first entry of the Crossbell Arc of Falcom’s legendary series with The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. Stabbey is largely right, but I do want to say that the 'notable story arc tied to a story arc in the previous Trails in the Sky series' he's referring to, while a relatively small part of Trails from Zero, is one of the best and most emotionally gripping story arcs in the series.
